The VPInstruments 3 Phase Power Meter measures voltage and current across all three phases, providing power, voltage, current, cos(phi), and many additional electrical parameters via RS485 Modbus RTU. The Modbus interface allows easy connection to any monitoring system, and when combined with one or more flow meters, enables real-time compressor efficiency monitoring.
Unlike current-only loggers, the 3 Phase Power Meter measures both voltage and current for each phase, delivering high-accuracy true power consumption data. It is recommended for permanent installations where measurement accuracy and continuous monitoring are required.
