Position Summary
The Student, Carbon Credit Administration plays a key role in managing Trido’s Carbon Credit program by overseeing database management, project organization, and team support. As the database champion, they ensure accurate data tracking and system efficiency while coordinating project activities. This role is responsible for training and directing the Carbon Credit Validation Team, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth project execution. Through effective data management and leadership, the Administrator supports the successful validation of carbon credit projects and contributes to the company’s sustainability goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate upcoming projects to the Client and the Trido Carbon Credit Validation team.
- Coordinate the logistics of goods and services to successfully complete Carbon Credit projects.
- Train and provide ongoing support to all members of the Carbon Credit Validation Team.
- Serve as the online database Champion, supporting the Carbon Credit program.
- Develop project scopes and allocate manpower to ensure timely completion.
- Generate and manage purchase orders for upcoming projects while coordinating with Suppliers.
- Verify that all received products are properly recorded in the Database.
- Supervise the creation, approval, and resolution of validation documents within the scheduled timeframe.
- Conduct QA/QC inspections at the conclusion of each project to ensure 100% completion and alignment of APPS reports with the Carbon Credit Database.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a systems-oriented approach when managing large datasets.
- Genuine interest in climate change and contributing to carbon reduction efforts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with advanced knowledge of Power BI.
- Proven experience in project management and multitasking, with the ability to provide clear direction to the Trido Carbon Credit Validation Team through effective communication.
Requirements
- Experience working with the Alberta Carbon Credit program.
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering or Science in progress.
- Willingness to work extended hours as required by project demands.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with vendors.
- Ability to start September 1, 2026
