The Cantronic RedEagle U340 puts OGI gas leak detection in the air. Drone-mounted and compatible with DJI M300/M350, it detects methane and 400+ VOC gases from up to 200 metres — covering large facilities faster, safer, and without putting personnel near hazardous equipment.
⚠️ Please Note: The RedEagle U340 is a camera payload only and does not include a drone. Compatible with DJI M300, DJI M350, and Mavlink-enabled UAV platforms. Drone must be sourced separately.
When a facility is too large, too dangerous, or too remote to walk with a handheld camera, the RedEagle U340 changes the equation. Designed specifically for UAV integration with DJI M300, M350, and Mavlink-compatible platforms, the U340 brings the same proven HOT T2SL MWIR detector technology to aerial LDAR inspections — detecting methane, propane, benzene, and hundreds of other hydrocarbons from distances up to 200 metres.
At just 800 grams, the U340's low SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) design mounts cleanly on enterprise drones without sacrificing flight time or stability. Dual IR/visual imaging and eight color palettes give operators a complete picture of leak location and severity in real time, transmitted directly through the DJI Pilot 2 app or third-party ground control software.
For Alberta operators managing large pad sites, pipeline corridors, tank farms, or remote facilities where boots-on-ground inspections are time-consuming or hazardous, the U340 enables systematic coverage that simply isn't practical with handheld equipment alone. EPA OOOOa/b/c compliance documentation is built into every flight.
Used alongside the COMPASS V340 handheld, operators can deploy the RedEagle for rapid wide-area sweeps and then confirm and quantify findings at ground level — a two-tool LDAR program that is faster, safer, and more defensible than either approach alone.
